Beyond TV 4.5: coming later today

We’re in the process of rolling out the latest version of Beyond TV, version 4.5… Until then, most SnapStream sites will be down. This means you may see some broken images on the blog here and in other places.

But why does snapstream.net have to be down? We lose the ability to remote record.

What time is “Later in the day” I just got my PVR card and Beyond TV and it is really frustrating to not be able to download the program guide.

It is the 25th and I can not find the update. I have purchased 2 licenses (one yesterday) and felt that this product was a community project. It seems that this patch release could include the plug-in without charging current users. Are you going straight commercial? When will the 4.5 be available.

I have a P3 733MHz at home with a Hauppagge PVR 250, and using the Beyond TV 4.3, ’cause the latest versions have a funny behaviour (bugs):
1. version 4.4 … during the running it creates and closes million of ports, looks like a problem with the networking service
2. version 4.5 .. was optimized for P4 machines, and works very slow on older machines, like mine P3.
So, even if I’ve paid for this software, I cannot use the latest versions because of the old hardware :-(((
4.3 is just right for P3 … I think the 3 is in synch :-)))
