Call for beta testers of new TV website

November 2nd, 2006 at 2:25 pm by zack

To all the early adopters out there, we have an opportunity to test our newest creation that’s currently in beta.

Columbus is a web-based TV community and listings website that we’re creating here at SnapStream Media. The main focus at the current time is on creating a simple to use and uncluttered TV guide experience. Once we’ve polished that off, we’re going to start adding the community based features.

In the long run, the site will also function as a replacement for SnapStream.net and be integrated with Beyond TV, but currently is running standalone.

If you’re in the United States and are interested in beta testing the site, please fill out this survey. Expect to see an approval in your email within the next few days (as long as you don’t work for a competitor :) ).

(Current SnapStream beta testers should use the email address they have signed up for the beta program when filling out the survey.)

Surveymonkey is a site that is blocked by Spybot - Search and Destroy… I’m sure that I’m not the only one that will not take the survey unless you host it somewhere with a better reputation.

I would be glad to try out the new website. I have a BTV server with three tuners (one for Directv, one for Comcast cable tv and the other for OTA HD). I also have 3 x BTVlink systems on 3 different television sets.

We switched to BTV from Tivo which we used for many years.

    Thanks

    TJ

I purchased a DIAMOND TV card, followed the installation instructions to the letter, but it does not want to work. My computert tells me there is no TV card installed. What shall I do? I know thi is probably not the place for this comment, but I didn’t know what else to do. I would greatly appreciate any help you would offer, if you decide.
    Thanks in advance
